Andrew Lloyd Webber is a very well known and successfull English composer.
Andrew Lloyd Webber was born on 22nd of March in 1948. Lloyd Webber was born and raised in a family of musicians: his mother, Jean Hermione, was a violinist and pianist and his father, William Lloyd Webber, was a composer. Andrew’s younger brother, Julian Lloyd Webber, is a solo cellist.
Lloyd Webber started writing his music at a very young age, when he was only six. Andrew published his first six part suite when he was only nine.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has received numerous awards, such as: Grammy Awards, Academy Awards, Golden Globes and Tony Awards.
Lloyd Webber was knighted in 1992 and in 1997 he received a title of Baron Lloyd-Webber, of Sydmonton, in Hapshire.
Andrew has five children: Imogen (born 1977), Nicholas (born 1979), Alastair (born 1992), William (born 1993) and Isabella (born 1996).
Andrew Lloyd Webber composed music for British performer Jade Ewan for Eurovision 2009 contest called “My Time”. Unfortunately UK did not win first place, but this entry took a fifth place in the list, which is also a great success. Not many know though that this is not the first attempt made by Andrew, big fan of Eurovision, to enter the contest. In 1967 he submitted a song to competition called “Try It and See”, but it was not selected.
